Chihuly Exhibit at The Dallas Arboretum - Now thru November 5. Don't miss this extraordinary exhibit from world-famous glass artist, Dale Chihuly. You can go during the day or night. State Fair of Texas - The annual carnival and carshow is back! For over 125 years, the fair has been a "must do" for most Dallasites. The fair runs now thru October 21 so don't miss it. While you're there, check out our friend, Anna Palmer's, art at the Texas Discovery Gardens.
Klyde Warren Park - Opens Oct 27 - Klyde Warren Park is the new downtown park that links Uptown with Downtown. Klyde Warren Park will create an urban green space over the existing Woodall Rodgers Freeway between Pearl and St. Paul streets. It will provide connectivity to the city’s flourishing Arts District, bring cultural offerings together and serve as a central gathering space for Dallas and its visitors to enjoy. In addition to a restaurant and performance stage, plans for the park include jogging trails, a dog park, a children’s playground, fountains, an area for games and much more.
